Book-envelope made by children from Albufeira, in solidarity with those who do not have a mailbox

The proceeds will be offered to the CASA – Support Center for the Homeless – Albufeira delegation

The students in the 4th year of basic education at the EB1 JI Vale Pedras School, in Albufeira, are the authors of the book “Open… é para ti!”, which arrives in an envelope. They are letters, poems and illustrations dedicated to her teacher, but whose income reverts to those who don't have a mailbox: the homeless.

CASA – Support Center for the Homeless of Albufeira, to whom the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated, will be present at the presentation of this book, at the Lídia Jorge Municipal Library, on 8 August, at 10:30 am. The presentation of this book will only have the presence of 24 people, due to compliance with the rules imposed by the General Directorate of Health.

According to those responsible for the initiative, this book is the record of “sharing the moments that were left, while learning, while participating in solidarity actions aimed at homeless people, under the guidance of their teacher, while playing, while making friends… while dreaming ”.

There are stories that eternalize singular moments, poems that talk about affections and enchantments and letters where there is gratitude, innocence and great love of those who have a small heart.
