The online initiative “Sagres Sunset Shots”, which will feature mini-concerts by names such as Cuca Roseta, João Pedro Pais and Viviane, takes place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of August and will be broadcast on the Internet.
This initiative is organized by the Algarve Tourism Region, together with the municipality of Vila do Bispo.
There are three events that make up “Sagres Sunset Shots” and will take place, on each day, between 20:00 pm and 21:00 pm (considering the estimated time of sunset), animated by mini-concerts by various national artists and DJs.
On Friday, the 14th, the stage will be Cuca Roseta and DJ Christian F. For Saturday, the 15th, João Pedro Pais and DJ Eddie Ferrer are already confirmed.
The lineup is completed with performances, on Sunday, the 16th, of Viviane, which will be joined by the local band Naomi & The Raposeira Dub Collective.
All of these sunset shots will be short-lived and will come to life on the Internet with live streaming on Facebook, in Visit Algarve, Algarve Tourism, VisitAlgarve_ES and Municipality of Vila do Bispo and on the VisitAlgarve YouTube channel.
“Together, the organization will use three cameras, including a drone, to capture dynamic images of the concerts and make it possible to enjoy with greater involvement a unique show from the Forte do Beliche, in Sagres», says the RTA.
For João Fernandes, president of the Algarve Tourism Region, «“Sagres Sunset Shots” allows us to show the beauty of another corner of our region, now enriched with an entertainment component, through music. Given current restrictions, this is an event specially designed to be lived online, broadcast on live streaming, for which, we are certain, will capture all the charm of this natural landscape and surprise those who join us through social networks».
Also Adelino Soares, mayor of Vila do Bispo, considers that this «is a differentiating and involving initiative».
«The “Sagres Sunset Shots” has enormous potential to make known the beauty of our landscape to thousands of visitors, namely Portuguese tourists, but also foreigners. Sharing this natural scenery of our county is an opportunity to reinforce the tourist promotion of the destination, which has unique attractions and provides unforgettable experiences for those who visit us», he adds.
