Accountability and crematorium on the agenda of the next Municipal Assembly of Portimão

Meeting is scheduled for July 31

Accountability by the City Council, the future crematorium and the transfer of competences in beach management are some of the issues that will be debated at the 5th Extraordinary Session of 2020 of the Municipal Assembly of Portimão, which will take place on July 31, one Friday, from 21 pm, in the auditorium of the Municipal Museum.

The session begins with a Citizens' Intervention Period, which will have special rules arising from the pandemic, namely face-to-face assistance limited to eight citizens.

There follows the Period on the Agenda, which will have five points.

Point a) refers to the recruitment of two people for the career and category of senior social action technician.

Then, the executive will render the Consolidated Accounts of the Municipal Group, referring to 2019.

The third item on the agenda is the transfer of land to the Companheira Social, Sports and Cultural Center project.

The Municipal Assembly will also discuss and vote on a proposal by Councilor João Gambôa on the design, construction and operation of the Portimão crematorium (point d) and the transfer of competences in the field of management of maritime beaches integrated in the Public Water Domain.
