LAMA returns to walk “À Babuja” in the Algarve

Piece is «an epic à algarvia»

The street theater show “À Babuja”, by LAMA, returns on the 16th of July, after the tour stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first sessions of this second phase of the tour take place in Faro, on the 16th of July, and in Vila Real de Santo António, on the 18th.

This is a piece about love – or about the search for love – and also about friendship: a friendship marked by many adventures in the Algarve of sun and beach and by another less media-oriented one. On this trip, the public will discover or recognize not only places, customs and delicacies, but also gestures and ways of being typical of the people of this region. Everything always with a lot of humor in the mix.

As part of the celebrations of LAMA's tenth anniversary, the show 'À Babuja' is financed by the 365 Algarve program and will have nine performances until November. All sessions are free, with the exception of those that take place in Faro, whose ticket costs 5 euros.

For free admission sessions it is also necessary to obtain a ticket in advance. On this issue, detailed information can be obtained here

LAMA Theater is a structure financed by the Directorate General of Arts and supported by the Municipality of Faro.
