The lighting on Avenida dos Pescadores, in the village of Luz, has been upgraded, the Câmara de Lagos has just announced.
In a press release, the municipality says that the "intervention contemplated not only the replacement of lighting fixtures and their redistribution in space, but also the creation of telecommunications infrastructure, taking advantage of the opening of ditches to provide that avenue with an ITUR (telecommunications infrastructure) network in subdivisions, urbanizations and groups of buildings)».
The contract cost around 148 euros, plus VAT.
Last year, a similar project was also carried out in the pedestrian area of Avenida dos Descobrimentos, in Lagos, another of the ex libris of the county.
