It's called “Albufeira Summer Live” and will have four dates, with eight locations, which are still secret, and artists like Kura, Diego Miranda, Pete Tha Zouk and the Bubba Brothers. This will be a festival, broadcast exclusively online, and will take place in July and August.
Kura, Pete Tha Zouk, Diego Miranda, Wilson Honrado, DJ China, Luizinho, Jay Martin and Bubba Brothers are some of the names that will go through the Albufeira Summer Fest.
This is a promotional campaign designed by the Municipality of Albufeira to follow exclusively online, on the 17th and 31st of July and the 7th and 20th of August.
The campaign is translated into a set of four events to be monitored on different platforms by streaming.
In addition to these names, the Câmara de Albufeira highlights "two unprecedented and perhaps unrepeatable performances". One of them is the actor Nuno Lopes who, as a DJ, «accepted the Municipality's invitation to act aboard a maritime-tourist vessel in a tour that will involve around a hundred vessels».
The other is from the band The Gift who accepted the challenge and will act in a surprise setting.
In all of the performances, «there will be visual and musical surprises, as if to remind you that Albufeira, despite the restrictions of tourist activity, is very present and part of the imagination of those who want to enjoy a good bathing holiday».
This is precisely the objective of the Municipality which, for José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira, «cannot fail to invest in promoting its landscapes, animation, joy and happiness that tourist activity provides to those who visit us. they visit'.
For the mayor, "this initiative serves not only to promote the destination, but also to bring to those who this year, for various reasons, cannot visit us, a little of what our county is, inland and on the coast, with its unique colors and landscapes”, adding that he is “very expectant in relation to this initiative, which is differentiating and, we think, will have a strong impact on those who truly love Albufeira”.
