Public tender with a base price of around 1,1 million euros

Docapesca has launched a public tender for the rehabilitation of the south jetty at the Baleeira fishing port, located in Sagres, with a base price of around 1,1 million euros.

This intervention "will restore all the safety conditions of fishing professionals and boats operating in this port", guarantees the company.

The intervention in this infrastructure, built about 40 years ago, includes the complete replacement of the superstructure (tray) and the rehabilitation of the pipelines.

The jetty will be equipped with all the essential equipment for operability and safety: mooring bollards, rings, ladders, multipurpose modules, new lighting poles and new water and electricity distribution networks.

New vertical fenders will also be installed, adapted to the tide variation and fixed to the new head of the pipes.
