Although there is still no certainty, given the delays that the work suffered due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Farense mayor is convinced that, "if things go well", it will be possible that the opening will take place during this summer period. .
«We believe that we will manage, this summer, to have the Camping Park open», Rogério Bacalhau told our newspaper.
“What the contractor tells me is that, next month, he has the work ready. If that happens, it is likely that we will be able to open in August», he reinforced.
The Chamber's initial objective “was to open now in July. But, with Covid-19, things were delayed, of course, in addition to having other more priority measures that we had to take, related to the pandemic».
The completion of the works is the major constraint, but this summer of 2020, we must also count on the pandemic and the extra measures that must be taken so that equipment of this nature can work.
