The Monchique Water Society (SAM) delivered a gift check to Refúgio Aboim Ascensão, for the purchase of toys, which were distributed on World Children's Day.
For the Sociedade da Água de Monchique this was “a special way of marking a unique date for the little ones”.
This offer comes, explains the company, «as part of the social responsibility policy of Sociedade da Água de Monchique and intended to provide a different day for children residing in the institution, on which is a date in which the right to play is remembered in a special way. ».
The donation was delivered by the coordinator of the Água Monchique manufacturing unit, Élia Pereira, and by one of the administrators of SAM, José Almeida.
