“Promoting mental health in times of social isolation”. This is the theme of an online get-together, organized by Teia d'Impulsos, taking place this Saturday, May 9th, at 15 pm, on the Zoom platform.
What impact is confinement and the fear of contagion having on all of us and what strategies to overcome this challenge?
This question is the motto of the initiative, in which Maria do Carmo Cruz, director of the Psychiatry Service of the Hospital de Portimão, Helena Pinto, a psychologist, and Father Nuno Tovar de Lemos, from the Parish of Nossa Senhora do Amparo in Portimão, will participate.

The Teia D'Ideias project, of which this initiative is part, arose from the concern to follow the most diverse themes that mark the regional current.
As such, taking into account the Covid-19 pandemic, the project has now gained a digital dimension and this will be the fifth gathering held over the Internet.
On May 14, from 19 pm, the theme will be “Post-Covid Tourism”, in what will be the last initiative of this first series of debates. For now, the presence of João Fernandes, president of the Algarve Tourism Region, is confirmed.
