Silves brings together municipal leaders to plan the reopening of services

However, "the closure of services and the suspension of procedural and procedural deadlines will remain until 23:59 on the 5th of May"

The municipal executive of Silves will decide this Monday, May 4th, how the reopening of municipal services will take place.

With the end of the state of emergency, which becomes one of calamity, and when they have already been announced by the Government the gradual deconfinement measures, the executive of the Silves Chamber will meet with directors and officials of municipal services to assess the terms and conditions for the reopening of municipal services and facilities that were closed to the public due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

 




«Aware that, despite the lack of confidence, all the important effort of the municipality in the prevention and mitigation of the pandemic of the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), which causes the COVID-19 disease, must be maintained, especially in the workplaces of its workers, the Municipality of Silves intends, through this meeting, to define a strategy to ensure the correct implementation of the measures that may be enacted, so that municipal service workers can organize their return to the workplace with the necessary confidence that everyone can get back together and work with safety, health and well-being», announced the municipality.

Taking this into account, «the closure of services and the suspension of procedural and procedural deadlines will remain until 23:59 on the next 5th of May».
