The Municipality of Lagos promoted yesterday the realization of tests to Covid-19 for teachers and non-teaching staff of the two groups of schools in the municipality.
The initiative, promoted by the municipality in conjunction with the directors of the Gil Eanes and Júlio Dantas School Grouping, was developed on the ground by the Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC) and aimed to ensure that the return to face-to-face teaching activities takes place «with all the necessary conditions. adequate security and tranquility, preventing possible outbreaks of contagion», according to the Câmara de Lagos.
The action was accompanied by Sara Coelho, Councilor for Education of the Lacobrigense autarchy.
