This year, University of Algarve Summer Courses are online

Registration, which is already open, takes place exclusively online, between May 25th and June 21st

The Summer Courses at the University of Algarve (UAlg) will take place from the 6th to the 10th of July and from the 13th to the 17th of July, but in online format, through videoconferences.

This is a way to adapt this initiative to the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Aimed at young people aged 15 and over, who attend secondary education, the course programs are available on the University of Algarve portal (www.ualg.pt).

Enrollments, which are already open, take place exclusively online, between May 25th and June 21st, and have the value of 20 euros per week.

«The challenge launched by social distancing makes it possible, curiously, for everyone to be even closer. Any student from anywhere in the country or in the world, who attends the equivalent of secondary education, will now have the opportunity to participate in UAlg's 2020 Online Summer Courses», says the Algarve Academy.

"The main objective of these courses is to promote a taste for the Institution's various areas of teaching and research and help young people in their vocational choice in accessing higher education," he adds.

Between 09:30 am and 13:00 pm, participants will be able to attend the sessions of the course in which they registered, participate in experiences and clarify doubts with the stakeholders. The afternoon is dedicated to sports and leisure activities, online and interactive.

The current situation forced the cancellation of all activities aimed at publicizing the training offer of the University of Algarve to future candidates for higher education. Such imposition required a new way of publicizing the Institution, trying to ensure that all interested parties have the opportunity to know, explore, question, feel and choose the University of the Algarve.
