Kindergarten teachers from Lagoa received training on new Pre-School rules

Training session aimed at professionals in crèches and kindergartens in this Algarve municipality

About six dozen operational assistants and kindergarten teachers from the public, social and private network of the municipality of Lagoa received training yesterday on «Prevention and Control Measures in Pre-School Education Establishments».

The training session, aimed at professionals from crèches and kindergartens in this Algarve municipality, was promoted by the Municipality of Lagoa and given by the local Health Delegation.

The objective was to create conditions to reinforce the confidence of everyone involved in the process of returning to school and “to the new normal”.

The Mayor of Lagoa welcomed the participants, assuring that "we are on the right path".

"When we are already in the fourth week of deconfinement, it is important to continue to follow the recommendations of the health authorities to consolidate the results already achieved, in other words, to avoid the exponential increase in the numbers of the disease caused by COVID-19", added Luís Encarnação.

During this last week of May, individual protection equipment continues to be distributed to the population and institutions such as the School Groups in the municipality of Lagoa.

“Learning to live in the new normal” was the appeal launched by the Mayor of Lagoa to professionals from the Rio Arade School Groups (AERA), Father António Martins de Oliveira (ESPAMOL), Centro Popular de Lagoa, and Nobel (International School do Algarve) who participated in this training action at the Carlos do Carmo auditorium.

The same appeal extends to many other sectors of the local community.
