A 41-year-old man, suspected of assaulting his son, partner and father-in-law, was arrested this Thursday, 21 May, in Luz de Tavira.
The man is suspected of "three crimes of aggravated domestic violence".
The arrest was carried out under a court order, as part of an investigation that began seven days ago, in connection with the suspect's attacks on a minor, 13-year-old son.
“There are also indications that I suspect he mistreated his 38-year-old partner and his 78-year-old father-in-law, who lives with the couple,” says the GNR.
The suspect was detained until he was presented to the Judicial Court of Faro.
The police action was reinforced by the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) in Tavira.
