The Algarve short film “2dto”, by Paradoxon Produções, was selected for the film festival “Trapped Film Festival”, in Minneapolis, in the United States of America. The event will be online, on May 15th.
The festival will screen the competition's films on your facebook page, being mandatory the purchase of tickets for the event, which are free of charge up to 10 per participant. Registration can be done here.
The films in competition will stay online for 48 hours and, after the time allowed by the organization, the jury will decide the winners.
Paradoxon Produções emphasizes that «Portuguese cinema is once again to be congratulated. With few or no resources, Portuguese films are better known outside our country, due to an existing elitism on the part of those who organize festivals in Portugal».
The producer says she was «very satisfied» with the selection «fruit of our work» and that it demonstrates «that our films have the quality to be shown anywhere in the world at any international festival. Only inside, in our country, this vision is limited to the “no”», he concludes.
