Ethical banking and funding for culture set the tone for the Qriative Conversation

Guest speaker is José Manuel Betanzos, from Coop57

Ethical banking and funding for the cultural sector will set the tone for the Qriativa Conversation in digital format “Alternative Financing”, which the QRER cooperative will promote on May 26, at 18:00.

The guest of honor of this edition of the initiative is José Manuel Betanzos, from the Technical Secretariat of Andalusia of Coop57, «a Spanish organization specialized in financial, ethical and solidarity services», framed the QRER.

José Betanzos will present the modus operandi of COOP57 «and will present several examples of projects in the area of ICC – Cultural and Creative Industries that have already received support for their development through this cooperative».

«Although Coop57 is based in the neighboring country and disseminated through various sections in its provinces, the organization is open to welcoming partners, individual or collective, from other countries. Thus, for several years, Coop57 has had individual partners from other countries, namely from Portugal – Algarve and the French Basque Country. Right now, the QRER Cooperative is Coop 57's first collective partner located outside Spain», stress the organizers of the conversation.

Participation is free, but subject to prior registration, which must be done by filling in the an online form, available here, until 23:00 on the 21st. Each registrant will then receive a link to access the event.

The Qriativa Conversation initiative, which goes to the 4th session, is promoted by the QRER Cooperative, which promotes the QRIAR – Creative Incubator of the Algarve under the Magallanes_ICC project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), of the Interrreg VA program Spain – Portugal (POCTEP) 2014 – 2020.
