The partial suspension of the Portimão PDM, the regulation of controlled parking zones and preventive measures within the scope of the Covid-19 pandemic are some of the matters that will be on the agenda of the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the Municipal Assembly of Portimão, which will take place on the 1st of June, at 21 pm, in the Municipal Museum Auditorium.
The meeting, warned the president of the Municipal Assembly in the notice of the next meeting of this body, "will not be public, as the necessary safety and safeguard conditions required in preventing and combating Covid-19 are not guaranteed."
Despite this, there will still be a period of public intervention, which will open the meeting, in which citizens will be able to participate remotely. To this end, citizens must submit their questions in advance, via email to the address [email protected], addressed to the President of the Municipal Assembly, until 17:00 on 1 June.
This space for citizen intervention is followed by the Order of the Day (OD) period, which has five scheduled points.
On the table will be the discussion and voting of the proposals for "partial suspension of the PDM and preventive measures" (1st point in the OD), the "final draft of the regulation of controlled parking zones in Portimão" (2nd point) and " proposal to adopt preventive measures to ensure the necessary social distancing in commercial establishments in the context of the public health emergency caused by the Covid-19 disease» (3rd point).
The "regulation for the allocation and management of the municipality's housing stock" (4th point) and the "final proposal for the regulation of the underground parking and parking of the Rocha Prime building" (5th point) will also be under discussion and voting.
