Tavira parishes want to make masks for those who cannot afford them but need help

If the donated money arrives, gowns will also be produced

The parishes of Tavira are raising funds to produce masks, which are intended to be used in the Parish Center of Santa Maria and “by people who cannot afford to buy them”.

Father Miguel Neto, responsible for those parishes, explains that the masks "will also be used at the Health Center, which has given directions on how to make these materials."

"If you manage to raise a budget that allows you to buy the necessary material", gowns can also be made, he adds.

At the moment, there are already five volunteers working on making the masks.

Those who want to help can participate in this campaign in two ways: by making a donation (by leaving it in an envelope at the Church of Santiago or at the Church of Santa Luzia or by transfer to an account with IBAN Pt50 0018 000346078879020 78); or purchasing a social mask (the amount will revert to the purchase of special fabric.

If you want to buy one of these social masks, you must send private message to Facebook of Tavira Parishes.
