Masks made by parish volunteers delivered to the Tavira Health Center

Luísa Prates, technical director of the Tavira Health Center, made a point of thanking the offer

This Monday, April 20th, the Tavira Health Center received approximately 250 masks, produced by the volunteers of the Parish and with fabric purchased with the donations received so far.

Luísa Prates, technical director of the Tavira Health Center, made a point of thanking this offer, in a message sent to the Parish, expressing her “gratitude for the kind – and very important – offer”.

«The choice of material used was the best, as the masks are washable», said Luísa Prates.

Moreover, the parishes of Tavira continue to raise funds to produce masks, which are intended to be used in the Parish Center of Santa Maria, by people who cannot afford to buy them and by professionals from the Health Centre.

Those who want to help can participate in this campaign in two ways: by making a donation (by leaving it in an envelope at the Church of Santiago or at the Church of Santa Luzia or by transfer to an account with IBAN PT50 0018 000346078879020 78); or purchasing a social mask (the amount will revert to the purchase of special fabric).

If you want to buy one of these social masks, you must send private message to Facebook of Tavira Parishes.
