Citizens who find themselves in mandatory confinement during the period of the State of Emergency can resort to GNR support for the delivery of food products or medicines, it was announced today.
In a statement, the Guarda Nacional Republicana explains that citizens subject to compulsory confinement, under Covid-19, can now count, in addition to the support of Social Security, with the support of the GNR, through the territorial post closest to their residence, if they have no one to turn to.
This measure covers "patients with Covid-19, infected with SARS-Cov2, or all those who have been determined to be actively monitored by the health authorities and who must obligatorily remain isolated in their homes", the note reads.
