The Diocese of Algarve will broadcast the Easter celebrations over the internet due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Thus, the Diocese has already defined the schedule for Holy Week celebrations, presided over by the Bishop of the Algarve and without the presence of the faithful.
The celebrations will be broadcast in a joint initiative of the Folha do Domingo newspaper and the Mais Algarve digital platform, as has been the case on the last Sundays of Lent for the Sunday Eucharist.
The hours of the masses are as follows: Palm Sunday (April 5th at 11:00 am), Maundy Thursday (Lord's Supper Mass, April 9th at 17:00 pm), Good Friday (April 10th, at 15:00 pm) ), Easter Vigil (April 11, at 21:00 pm), Easter Sunday (April 12, at 11:00 am).
