Campaign wants entrepreneurs operating in the Via Algarviana “Together for Responsible Tourism”

Entrepreneurs are invited to complete the survey by 15 May

Associação Almargem, the entity responsible for managing and maintaining the Via Algarviana, is promoting the campaign “Via Algarviana: Together for Responsible Tourism”, aimed at entrepreneurs operating in the route network, in view of the current pandemic situation in Covid-19.

With the campaign, aimed at «particularly the business fabric operating in the area of ​​Nature Tourism in the Algarve, mainly characterized by micro-entrepreneurs, Almargem intends, in a first phase, to collect data through a survey in order to carry out an assessment of the effects of pandemic in the sector”.

The survey is available for participation until the 15th of May 2020 here.

With this survey, Almargem intends to «take stock of the situation of companies in the region and develop a strategy aimed at responsible tourism, involving the competent entities with a view to the joint assessment of measures and tools to support entrepreneurs».

Almargem is also supporting, with the regular dissemination of information available for the tourism sector, such as support measures, webinars, training actions, among others, «serving as a communication channel between the various entities in the region and the sector and entrepreneurs, keeping them abreast of essential information'.

The campaign “Via Algarviana: Together for Responsible Tourism” «presents an image created to show all the information and materials that are created in this area», framed Almargem.

This image «intends to convey a message of resilience, symbolically using the butterfly as an analogy to the metamorphosis and reinvention that the current moment demands of society, and the green color that refers to hope and the union necessary to jointly recover the tourist economic sector Of region".
