Covid-19: Algarve with 46 cases, four more than yesterday. Alentejo has 1 more

Today's epidemiological bulletin has already been released

The number of Covid-19 cases in the Algarve rose to 46 this Tuesday, four more than those registered yesterday. In Alentejo, there is one more case, raising the total to 6.

Data by region were only known recently, after have been announced the general numbers. However, the data are now more detailed, with information by municipality.

Only the Sul Informação found that, although the bulletin, for the first time, now includes data referring to several municipalities, in reality the numbers per municipality provided by the DGS are not up to date.

In Alentejo, only 4 cases refer to the municipality of Évora. The remaining two cases (out of a total of 6) are not mentioned in the bulletin.

The new case in Alentejo should be that of a businesswoman from Sines, who was in Dubai and is now at home in prophylactic confinement, reveals TDS Rádio e Televisão do Sul.

 

 

Today already knew, the number of infected nationwide rose from 302 to 2362. Of the sick people, 203 are hospitalized, 48 of them in intensive care. One of the interned is an Algarvian priest, who is in the hospital in Faro.

There are still 29 people dead nationwide, six more than yesterday. None of the new deaths were registered neither in the Algarve nor in the Alentejo. On a positive note, there are already 22 people recovered.

In all, since the outbreak of the outbreak, there have been 15474 suspected cases, 11329 have not been confirmed. There are also 1783 people awaiting laboratory results and 11842 under active surveillance.
