“Tanto Mar” – Loulé International Performing Arts Festival returns from 4th to 7th March, bringing together artistic creators from countries where Portuguese is the official language.
The event starts on the 4th, at 19 pm, with a conversation at the historic Café Calcinha, in which the organization of “Tanto Mar” and Vítor Aleixo, president of the Loulé Chamber, will participate.
On the following day (March 5) “Duas sem Três” (Duas sem Três), a production by the dance group Raiz di Polon (Praia/Cape Verde) takes the stage of the Cine-Teatro Louletano, at 21 pm.
The Cine-Teatro will also be the nerve center of “Tanto Mar”, receiving all shows at 21 pm: “Casados e Cansados” (on the 30th, by the Angolan group Enigma Teatro) and “Medeia Negra”, on the 6th , in charge of the Brazilian group Vilavox.
Everything will end, on the 7th, at 23 pm, but at the Old Town bar for a jam session to close “Tanto Mar”.
This is a festival organized by Folha de Medronho, in co-production with Cine-Teatro Louletano and Câmara Municipal.
