Lagoa: Man arrested who forced minors to engage in sexual acts

Victims are 13 and 17 years old

A man suspected of having forced victims aged 13 and 17 to commit sexual acts in Lagoa was arrested by the Judiciary Police.

In addition to crimes of sexual coercion, the alleged aggressor is also associated with crimes of sexual harassment, committed "on another occasion".

According to the PJ, the facts that the 34-year-old man is accused of occurred at the end of 2019, in a little frequented place on the public road, in the municipality of Lagoa.

The victims were subjected to sexual practices “through violence and against their will”.

The man, a bricklayer by profession, will be present at the first judicial interrogation to find out what coercive measures will be applied to him.

The investigation, under the responsibility of the PJ's Portimão DIC, continues, “assuming that there may be other victims”.
