Elis Regina's daughter and Tom Jobim's son and grandson will take the stage at the Algarve Congress Palace to star in the concert “Chega de Saudade”, which will recall one of the best known duets in Brazilian popular music, on the 22nd of May, at 21 pm.
In this show, Maria Rita, daughter of Elis Regina, joins the Quarteto Jobim, in which pianist Daniel Jobim and violinist Paulo Jobim, grandson and son of Tom Jobim, Jaques Morelenbaum (cello) and Paulo Braga (drums) line up.
Together, the five artists present «more than a tribute to the work of Tom Jobim, interpreting his sounds with lightness and sophistication, but never forgetting his own identity», according to ALG Eventos and Espelho de Cultura, which organize the event .
«This presentation also includes some partnerships present on the album “Elis & Tom”, such as the duet “Águas e Março”, now in the voices of Daniel Jobim and Maria Rita», they add.
