Arrested three men who robbed supermarket and two rent-a-car in Montenegro

The detainees remain at the GNR premises in Faro

Three men, aged between 21 and 64, suspected of having robbed a supermarket and two rent-a-car in Montenegro (Faro), were arrested this Tuesday, February 11th. 

In addition to the robberies, the suspects also tried to steal another rent-a-car.

The GNR says the men also tried to extort a bar owner into "hiring the private security services the suspects provided."

Following the steps, seven house search warrants and five vehicle search warrants were complied with.

These actions resulted in the seizure of 14 doses of cocaine, five air guns, three shotguns, a pistol, two Molotov cocktails, a dagger, a saber, a fist, 94 ammunition of various calibers, nine boxes of anabolic steroids, eight mobile phones and 6500 euros in cash.

The detainees remain at the GNR premises in Faro and will be present, this Wednesday, February 12, at the Judicial Court of Faro for the application of enforcement measures.

The operation had the collaboration of the PSP District Command of Faro and with the reinforcement of the Intervention Detachment and the Information and Criminal Investigation Section of the GNR of Faro.
