Alte will have the Loulé Library pole

The Polo de Alte will be equipped with 3300 documents (books and audiovisual).

From the 12th of February, Alte will have a hub at the Municipal Library of Loulé.

This space joins the existing ones in Salir and Quarteira and will open at 11:00 am.

This new center will function in one of the rooms of the Cândido Guerreiro and Condes de Alte Museological Center, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 17:00 pm.

The reading room will offer the population books for all age groups, from babies to adults, as well as DVDs and CDs. The user will also be able to read newspapers and magazines in this refurbished space, thinking of the population of Alta.

Those who have a reader card (free of charge) can take home up to eight books, two CDs and two DVDs for 15 days.

The Polo de Alte will be equipped with 3300 documents (books and audiovisual).

The Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library comprises the main library (in Loulé), the Itinerant Library, which currently has 32 stopping places, and the Salir, Quarteira and now Alte hubs.

In total, the Library has around 100.000 documents. Documents circulate between the five locations, so, for example, a reader in Alte may request documents that are in any of the other locations.
