The Orange Show already cheers up Silves

The inauguration was attended by Paulo Águas, rector of the University of Algarve, Rosa Palma, mayor of Silves, and Pedro Valadas Monteiro, regional director of Agriculture of the Algarve

 

The fourth edition of the Mostra Silves Capital da Laranja opened its doors this Friday, February 14th. Until Sunday, this citrus fruit is king and master of an event where handicrafts, sweets, gastronomy and music will not be lacking. 

Today Rita Guerra takes to the stage, at 22 pm. On Saturday it will be Ana Moura's turn to animate the Mostra da Laranja, at the same time.

It all ends with “From Fashion to Fashion” on Sunday.

Dozens of exhibitors linked to citrus, wines, agriculture, regional products, sweets, crafts and gastronomy, as well as some associations and local and regional entities are present at the event.

The inauguration was attended by Paulo Águas, dean of the University of Algarve, Rosa Palma, mayor of Silves, and Pedro Valadas Monteiro, regional director of Agriculture in the Algarve.

Then there was time for the presentation of the Route of the Orange, a project that the Sul Informação already made known.

thirteen restaurants they also participate in the Flavor a Orange Weekend, coinciding with the 4th Mostra Silves Capital da Laranja.
