Registration for another Open Day at the University of the Algarve (UAlg) is open until the next 10th of February.
This year, the initiative takes place on the 20th of February, with the University of the Algarve hosting, on that day, students from the 9th to the 12th grade in another edition of the Open Day.
«With the objective of publicizing the training offer for 2020/2021 and making known the pedagogical and scientific work developed at UAlg, the Open Day presents a varied program, with informative, pedagogical, experimental and recreational activities», says UAlg .

The initiative is aimed at students and teachers, but also at other educational agents, seeking to also include guardians and other interested citizens.
The program includes more than a hundred activities distributed by the two fields (Penha and Gambelas), where guided visits to departments and laboratories, lectures and various cultural and sporting initiatives will take place.
Last year, UAlg exhausted the number of enrollments, with more than 2500 students in primary and secondary education, in which schools in the Algarve and Alentejo stood out.
«This year, the activities were also designed to challenge and challenge the knowledge of young people, stimulating their critical sense, the assimilation of new concepts and/or the structuring of subjects already covered in the classroom, through the various subjects that constitute the curricula of basic and secondary education in Portugal», concludes UAlg.
