Moncarapachense regained the leadership of the I District Football Division of the Algarve, this Saturday, by beating Ferreiras, away from home, by 0-2, in the 13th round match.
Ivo Soares' team, which was two points behind Ferreiras, won with goals from Tiago Barros and Fábio Marques.
In addition to having lost first place, Ferreiras dropped to third place in the standings, having been overtaken by Louletano B, who thrashed Quarteira by 1-6, in the derby of the municipality of Loulé.
In fourth place is Immortal, who went to Silves to win 1-2. The team from Albufeira overcame 11 Esperanças, which, in an early game of this round, played on December 21, did not go beyond a home draw against Guia.
The sixth position, the last that gives access to the climb phase, is occupied by Culatrense, who thrashed, in Vila Real de Santo António, the “red laterna” Lusitano, by 0-5.
Almancilense, who had already played on 21 December, against Lagoa, won 3-2 and is in 7th position.
