Madjer, recently considered by the newspaper France Football as “the best player in the history of beach football”, will be the special guest of the Albufeira 2020 Sports Gala, which will take place on February 7th, from 21 pm, at the Pavilion Municipal Sports.
The footballer will be the national personality honored and will join the athletes, coaches and association leaders from Albufeira who stood out in the last sporting season, who will also be distinguished.
«Of the approximately 4 sports in the municipality, nearly 300 will be honored for their titles and achievements. But the Albufeira Sports Gala is also dedicated to the coaches and families of the athletes, who fill the stands to follow this event, which is already part of the municipality's sporting calendar», describes the City Council of Albufeira, which organizes the gala.
As for the special guest, about two months after being considered the greatest player ever in beach football, he helped the national team to become world champions in this sport.
«At 42, João Victor Saraiva, known as Madjer, has already been distinguished three times as the best player by FIFA and elected the best player in Europe by another four. He was three times world champion of national teams and one of clubs, having also been crowned European champion by Portugal on five occasions.
