Em cerca de ano e meio, a lavandaria Blue, Faro, within the scope of the “Roupa Amiga” Project, is proud to have washed and delivered more than 200 kilos of clothing, which arrived at the hands of customers by the end of 2019.
This initiative by the Farense laundry is still going from strength to strength. The process, which involves, completely free of charge, washing, sanitizing and packing clothes, began in April 2018.
Its objective, as recalled by Ricardo Mariano, CEO of the Timing Group to which the Blue laundry belongs, continues to be «to intervene in the clothes that reach those who need it most, but that are not washed and cared for».
According to the businessman, «this is a very important point, contributing to the self-esteem and comfort of people who, due to life circumstances, were unable to buy new clothes».
After the positive balance of the “Roupa Amiga” Project, this is certainly an incentive for more laundries in the region to join this solidarity movement.
