The delivery of the School Achievement Awards for the 2018/2019 school year and the homage to the Municipality's employees who retired during 2019, as well as the concert by Paulo Gonzo, close this Saturday, January 25th, the official celebrations of the Holiday Municipality of Vila do Bispo.
The awards ceremony and the tribute are scheduled for 14:30 pm, in the main hall of the City Council, while at 21:30 pm, Paulo Gonzo will give an intimate concert at the Pavilion Multiusos de Sagres with free admission, but limited to existing seats.
The Day of the Municipality and the patron saint of the municipality of Vila do Bispo, São Vicente, was celebrated on 22 January. The date was marked by the realization of protocol initiatives such as the raising of the flag, the solemn session of the Municipal Assembly of the City Council and also the celebration of the Eucharist by the Bishop of Algarve, D. Manuel Quintas, followed by the procession in honor of S. Vicente that took place in the streets of Vila do Bispo.
