The Algarve accordionist João Frade will participate this Thursday, January 30, at 21 pm, in the “Conversas à Quinta” section, in which he will present his new album at the Auditorium of Solar da Música Nova, in Loulé.

In a mix of get-together and concert, he will present his new homonymous album “João Frade”, released in 2019, accompanied by Michael Olivera (drums) and Yarel Hernandez (bass).

The initiative will also be “a journey through Frade's eclectic professional career and his views on the cultural universe, as well as his current and future projects in the musical area”.

«The new homonymous record by João Frade reaffirms and reinforces, with marked maturity, aesthetic trends already rooted in the identity and path of the inspired Algarve musician and, on the other hand, winks at some new sound paths towards adoption of an even more eclectic and cosmopolitan language», can be read in his recent album. The edition of this disc had the support of the Municipality of Loulé.

“Conversas à Quinta” is the regular section of reflection and debate around themes related to culture, arts and society, which counts on the presence of a recognized figure, from the Algarve or abroad, who exposes his path and vision on the topics concerned.

The get-together-concert with João Frade has a planned duration of 120 minutes (approximately) and is aimed at people over 12 years of age and is free of charge, although the capacity is limited.
