The first edition of the Winter Champion Cup, in women's futsal, takes place this weekend, December 21st and 22nd, at the Municipal Sports Pavilion of Olhos de Água, Albufeira.
The new competition puts, face to face, the top four classified in the 9th round of the Algarve Senior Women's Futsal Championship.
On Saturday, Grupo Desportivo e Cultural de Machados plays against Sociedade Recreativa Boa-União Parchalense, for the first semi-final, at 16 pm. The second semi-final will be at 00:18, between Castromarinense and Sporting Clube Farense.
The two winning teams face off in the final, scheduled for 18:00 on Sunday.

The Algarve Football Association also takes advantage of the event to promote the Christmas Solidarity Campaign, launched recently, which consists of collecting food, clothing or toys for the youngest, which will later be donated to three Social Solidarity Institutions in the region.
Visitors to the pavilion during the weekend will have a Christmas tree at the entrance, where they can leave their donations.
