At the last Council meeting, the municipality of Lacobrigense approved the proposal for a partnership contract to be signed between the municipality of Lagos, the Instituto Lusíada da Cultura and AMAL – Comunidade Intermunicipal do Algarve.

«This contract includes, among other aspects, the establishment of a program of awareness-raising and education initiatives with school groups with the aim of bringing the school community closer to the “Zer0 Museum” and its concept. In addition, the partnership also aims to present the digital works created within the scope of the project's activities in spaces owned by the Museum or by the municipality of Lagos», revealed the Câmara de Lagos.

O "Zer0 Museum" will be «specially dedicated to digital art» and results from the collaboration of several municipalities, which want, in this way, «to create in the Algarve a place for the physical representation of digital works of art with a view to national and international recognition of the region and its artistic potential”.

«The works presented will be directly conceived to be exhibited in the spaces of this museum, but also from the collections of other international museums, always focusing on innovation, new technologies and the creativity of resident artists, both Portuguese and foreign», concluded the autarchy.
