Portimonense was thrashed 5-1 by Sporting de Braga/Academic Association of the University of Minho (AAUM), in the 12th round of the I National Futsal Division, played this Saturday, 30 November.
After beating Elétrico at home, in the last round, the team from Portimão could have added their second consecutive victory, something they haven't achieved this year.
The first goal of the match was scored by Daniel Rosa, in the 16th minute. In the first half, Braga reached 2-0, through Bruno Cintra (19′).
In the second half, Cássio made it 3-0, in the 23rd minute, and Bruno Cintra, with a penalty, scored twice in the match (28′). Portimonense still reduced, thanks to an own goal by Ricardinho, at 29, but Cássio, in the final minute, closed the score at 5-1.
In the next round, the Alvinegros receive Candoso, on Saturday, December 7th, at 16 pm.
