The national women's futsal team A will play two preparation games against Russia, on December 10th and 11th, at the Albufeira Municipal Pavilion.
On the 10th, the game is at 19:30 pm and on the 11th, at 20:00 pm. Both matches are in preparation for the qualifying phase for the 2021 European Championship.
On Monday, December 9th, the Portuguese team will be received at the Salão Nobre da Câmara de Albufeira, by the president José Carlos Rolo, who insists on welcoming the athletes and the technical team.
For the rest, the group coached by Luís Conceição, the Algarve national who is the coach, defeated Italy, by 4-0, in two matches, played in Oliveira de Azeméis.
The national team players also traveled to Huelva to play two more preparation games against Spain, having lost the first game 1-0 and tied the second with two balls.
After measuring forces with Russia, in Albufeira, the Quinas team will receive Spain, on the 14th and 15th of January 2020, and Ukraine, on the 23rd and 24th of March next year.
Earlier this year, Portugal hosted the first edition of the European Women's Futsal Championship, which ended with Spain's victory over Portugal.
In this inaugural edition, 55 teams competed for qualification, but only four were qualified for the final phase of the tournament: Spain, Portugal, Russia and Ukraine (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively).
