It passed through eight municipalities (Silves, Loulé, Portimão, Monchique, Lagoa, Olhão, Tavira and São Brás de Alportel) and planted 42 thousand trees. Operation Montanha Verde, promoted by Zoomarine, ended this Monday, November 11th.
This year, the initiative was divided into two days. So, in addition to volunteers, on Sunday, November 10, families participated, while Monday was destined for school groups.
Operation Montanha Verde was promoted by Zoomarine, within the scope of its philosophy Together We Protect (Together We Protect).
The initiative had the support of several entities, namely, the Algarve Tourism Region, Algar SA (Nutriverde), Águas do Algarve, Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa, Horto Alegria do Norte, GolfeJardim, the Management Nature Conservation and Forests of the Algarve and the Order of Biologists.
