Club Farense will host an “Encounter with the Environment”

This initiative aims to "encourage the active participation of citizens in environmental protection"

The first meeting, of a series of debates on the defense of the environment, promoted by Civis – Association for the deepening of citizenship, will take place on December 12th, at 18 pm, at Club Farense. 

The first meeting was attended by Francisco Serra, president of the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), researcher Cristina Veiga-Pires, Patrícia Ramalho, from the Almargem association, and student Margarida Roxo, who has been leading the marches for climate , in the Algarve.

This initiative aims to “encourage the active participation of citizens in defending the environment and the viability of human life, through the creation of a space for information, reflection and debate”.

«After the initial intervention of the guests, the public will intervene. It is intended that the debate at this meeting will indicate the most relevant themes for our territory, which will be addressed in the following meetings to be held during 2020», says Civis.
