Lagoa and Algarve wines were represented at the “Fetê des Vendages”, or Grape Harvest Festival, which took place in the Parisian district of Montmartre between 9 and 13 October.
The Câmara de Lagoa was present at this event, which is «a showcase of special importance in the international promotion and dissemination of wines», according to the municipality.
In addition to the best wines from ÚNICA – Adega cooperative de Lagoa, wines from Adega do Cantor de Albufeira and wines from Lagos, namely from Monte da Casteleja and Herdade dos Seromenhos, also participated.
«This was an excellent opportunity to promote the territory of Lagoa and the Algarve and reinforce the positioning messages of the respective offers of quality wine products in the French market», considered the Câmara de Lagoa.
The Algarve municipality went to Paris as part of the third exhibition of “Le Portugal à Montmartre” «where the most important wine regions in our country were represented».
Lagoa was invited by AMPV – Association of Wine-Producing Municipalities to «coordinate the participation of Algarve wines».
This year's “Fetê des Vendages had more than 500 visitors. The event was organized by the Paris Council (18th arrondissement) and took place in a space next to the emblematic Sacré Coeur Basilica.
