Farense – Aves, Louletano – Paços de Ferreira and Académica – Portimonense. These will be the games of the Algarve teams in the 3rd round of the Cup of Portugal, dictated the draw held this Wednesday, October 2, in Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras.
Thus, both Farense and Louletano will receive teams from the I League, in their stadiums. In the case of Farense, which plays in the II Liga, they will even play against the winner of the Portugal Cup in 2017/2018: Aves.
Louletano, from the Portuguese Championship, will also have a great game, but against Paços de Ferreira, which isn't even having a good championship so far.
Portimonense will have, in theory, the easiest task, in the visit to Académica de Coimbra (II Liga).
The games for the 3rd round of the Portuguese Cup are scheduled for the weekend of October 19th and 20th.
