CDS defends public-private partnership to build the Central Hospital

Assunção Cristas visited the Algarve

The CDS/PP defends that the construction of the Hospital Central do Algarve «can go through a public-private partnership». Assunção Cristas, president of the centrists, and João Rebelo, head of the list for the Algarve, were campaigning in the region, this Monday, 30 September, with health being one of the topics covered. 

One of the initiatives of the Algarve tour was the trip to the field, near the Algarve Stadium, where the construction of the Central Hospital was promised.

Assunção Cristas and João Rebelo recalled, in this regard, that there are «many health problems in the Algarve region, from the long waiting lists for consultations, such as the closure, due to lack of specialists, of several hospital services essential to the provision of care. health to the population'.

 

 

The CDS delegation also had a meeting with the Association of Irrigators and Beneficiaries of Silves, Lagoa and Portimão, where it says that it learned “of the difficulties that exist due to the extreme drought in the region”.

Assunção Cristas also visited an orange and avocado production, stating that, for each region, a solution is needed and that studies must be carried out in order to reach this solution.

The president of the CDS and the candidates were also at Congelados, in Odiáxere, municipality of Lagos.
