André Jordan's memoir, one of the world's most influential tourism personalities, and the promoter of Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura, hits stores on the 17th of October.

Known as the father of Portuguese tourism, André Francisco Spitzman Jordan, of Jewish-Polish origin, was born in Lwów, Poland, in 1933, from where he «fled with his parents in time to escape the concentration camps of the Second World War».
According to Almedina, «from Poland to Portugal and then on to Brazil, the family achieves a prominent place in Rio de Janeiro in times of glamour. Among cultural and mundane events, André Jordan also conquers his place as a journalist, which allows him to meet some outstanding characters of XNUMXth century history, with Bossa Nova in the background».
André Jordan lived in Buenos Aires, New York, London, «but it is Portugal that conquers him. Founder, creator and promoter of Quinta do Lago, Belas Clube de Campo, Vilamoura, among others, he became the largest real estate developer in the country. In 2014 he is considered one of the 12 most influential personalities in tourism worldwide», recalls Almedina.
