António Aleixo Group presents results of the Erasmus+ Teachers for the XNUMXst Century project

This project aims at the continuous training of teachers and non-teaching staff in the field of Curriculum Flexibility

The Poeta António Aleixo Schools Group, from Portimão, will present on October 29, at 16:30 pm, the first results of the project Teachers for the XNUMXst Century, funded by the Erasmus+ Program under Action Key 1 (international mobility for learning purposes). The session is aimed at educators, teachers, senior technicians and the community in general.

This project aims at the continuous training of teachers and non-teaching staff in the field of Curriculum Flexibility and, over two years, it foresees that a wide range of professionals participate in international mobility activities, in the European space, with the objective of exploring and analyzing solutions innovative in terms of school organization, curriculum organization and pedagogical methods, with a view to evaluating the contextualized application of these solutions in the cluster itself.

In this session, along with the dissemination of the opportunities that the Erasmus+ Program contemplates for the sectors of School Education (primary and secondary education) and Vocational Training (secondary level), the results of activities carried out in the last academic year, corresponding to mobilities, will be presented. which materialized in countries such as Estonia, Finland, Spain (Barcelona), Croatia, Ireland, Czech Republic and Germany.

The different participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences in an international context, the knowledge acquired and the resulting action proposals.

The mobility plan to be developed in the current school year, within the scope of the project, will also be presented. Teachers for the XNUMXst Century, which includes activities of job shadowing in schools in countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Slovenia, Poland, Italy and Greece.
