RIAS – Ria Formosa Wildlife Recovery and Research Center will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a Bioblitz, an open day and other activities, on September 28th and 29th, at Quinta de Marim, in Olhão, the headquarters of the Park Born in Ria Formosa.
On the 28th, a Saturday, Bioblitz starts and ends with the observation of nocturnal insects, at 00:00 and 22:00.
In between, there will be activities with aquatic macroinvetebrates, reptiles and amphibians, plants, birds and bats, among others.
On Sunday, September 29, the Rias Open Day takes place, which includes activities for the treatment and feeding of animals, a demonstrative necropsy and workshops on the construction of perches and nests for birds, among others.
The RIAS peddypaper, the return of animals to nature, yoga and dances of the world are also part of the program, which can be consulted in full here.
