Monologue by Ivo Canelas opens new season at Cine-Teatro Louletano

One of the sessions is already sold out

Actor Ivo Canelas, with the monologue “All Things Marvelous”, will open the new artistic season of Cine-Teatro Louletano, this Saturday, September 14th, at 21:30 pm – the session is already sold out – and on Sunday, the 15th, at 18:00 pm and at 21:30 pm, with limited capacity.

According to Loulé City Council, «“All Things Marvelous” is a humorous monologue, written by Briton Duncan Macmillan, which premiered at the prestigious Fringe Festival in 2013 and has already been presented in several countries. Despite the comic tone, this show talks about serious themes: depression, existential crises, family and love are some of them».

“It's all based on a seven-year-old child's list of the best things in life. Ice cream, water wars and being able to watch TV after bedtime are some of them», adds the municipality.

Most people who see the play will have to participate in the theater, as papers with short sentences or simple words will be distributed to make the whole experience more interactive, which will later be posted in public places in the city of Loulé.

The atmosphere is intimate, as the seating is spread around the actor.

This show lasts 70 minutes, is aimed at people over 12 years old and tickets cost 12 euros, increasing to 10 euros for those over 65 and under 30, with an applicable Friend Card.
