A doctor from the Emergency Service (SU) of the Hospital de Beja suffered a myocardial infarction this Friday morning, when the nine injured from the collision at IP2 were admitted to that unit.
As far as it was possible to ascertain, the clinician could not withstand the pressure of the entry of all the wounded into the ER. After being stabilized, the doctor was transported to Espírito Santo Hospital, in Évora, by one of the Beja Fire Department ambulances that had transported victims of the accident.
